One of my friend just graduated from UBC (MBA). Chinese students are having a difficult time finding jobs. For those who got jobs, the pay is low (less than 40,000 CAD per year).

Couple of guys graduated from IVEY (MBA) this year, have not found a job yet. Some IVEY grads took Gov jobs, though the pay is low, the entrie packedg is not that bad.
(e.g. 6 week break).

Bottom line: It\'s a case by case situation. It\'s difficuty to almost everyone who doesn\'t have any local work experiences, but wants to seek a well-paid job by pursuing a MBA.

我本来也要申请ubc的,因为听说校园很漂亮,但等我拿着推荐信表格给老板时.老板从一堆信中,抽出ubc的,还给我说,我不写这封,因为不明白你为什么要出钱去读一所,令你可能赚得比现在更少的学校.总之,ubc出来的薪水听说出奇的低,我就放弃了,还好还没写essay.
